The Nova Scotia Ground Search and Rescue Association is a volunteer organization which represents the interests of the 23 member teams in Nova Scotia.
Our work is to support the teams in the province to be able to provide the best response when someone is lost or missing in a wilderness environment.
This includes liaising with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the province of Nova Scotia, and the Emergency Management Office.
We also seek funding for training and equipment and ensure that teams have the tools they need to meet a professional standard of training.
